About the Director
Susan Allton is a native English-born speaker of English. She grew up and lived in England until the age of 22. She moved to Germany to start her career in teaching, having obtained a BA from Newcastle University (class 2:1) and teaching qualifications through the RSA TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) examinations at International Teacher Training Centre, Bournemouth, (Grade B). Her move to Spain came in 1995 when she married her Spanish husband.
She has been a fully qualified teacher of English for over twelve years and has extensive experience with all age groups and levels. Over the past ten years she has been teaching in independent language schools in the Barcelona area as well as teaching extra-curricular English at local primary schools and at the OUC (Open University of Catalunya).
She has extensive experience in preparing students for official examinations both at national and international level, including the Cambridge examinations of FCE, CAE and Proficiency.
